Known pools are the fastest path when the market is clear

If the team already knows the pool address, do not make the Telegram group wait through a broad setup. Add the pool directly, confirm it, and tune the feed.

Known pool entry is especially useful for Uniswap v4 pool IDs, Curve pools, Balancer pools, Liquidity Book pools, and launches where a specific pool is already in the pinned message.

The normal /pool command

For the guided setup, run:

/pool

The bot will ask for the chain, pool contract or v4 pool ID, and target token. Use the help buttons if the admin is not sure which address is the pool and which address is the project token.

The power-user command is:

/pool base 0xPoolAddress 0xTargetToken

The pool address should be the market the group wants to watch. The target token should be the project token that should count as the bought asset in alerts.

After adding it, run:

/pools

Do not skip this. It tells the admin what the group actually saved.

Uniswap v4 pool IDs

For a v4 pool ID:

/pool base 0xV4PoolId 0xTargetToken <firstMintBlock>

If the team has a full pool key, use the full v4 setup shape:

/pool base 0xCurrency0 0xCurrency1 3000 60 0xHooks 0xTargetToken

This is cleaner than pretending v4 is a normal pair address.

Curve and Balancer target token checks

Curve and Balancer pools can include several assets. Before adding the pool, decide which token should trigger the buy alert. Use the project token address as the target token, not a helper token, LP token, or quote asset.

If the wrong target token is used, the feed may look confusing even when the pool is correct.

Route the pool to the right topic

If your group uses Telegram topics, open the alert topic and run:

/topic here

Then open:

/settings

Set minimum buy size and message style after the pool is confirmed.

When not to use direct pool entry

If nobody knows the pool yet, run /watch and follow the chain/token prompts, or use the direct route command:

/watch
/watch base 0xToken any <firstMintBlock> all

Then narrow the setup once the real market is known. Direct pool entry is best when the pool is already clear.
