The clean setup path

The best time to add Telegram buy alerts is before the room is noisy. You do not need a full dashboard or a long technical explanation. You need the bot in the group, the right token, the right market, and a feed style that fits the community.

1. Invite the bot

Open Telegram, invite @BAESBuyBot to the group or channel, and give it permission to post messages. If the group uses Telegram forum topics, decide which topic should receive buy alerts before you start.

In the alert topic, run:

/topic here

That tells the bot where buy posts should land.

2. Add the token

For the guided setup, run:

/watch

The bot will show chain buttons, ask for the token contract, and explain the first-mint block step before saving the watch. This is the easiest path when a moderator does not already know the full command.

Power users can still use the direct command with the token address and a first-mint block:

If the DEX route is known, include it:

3. Confirm the saved market

Run:

/pools

Do this before announcing that alerts are live. /pools shows what the group actually saved. If the wrong route or pool appears there, fix it before the first real buyers arrive.

4. Use direct pool entry when you have the pool

If the team already knows the exact pool, skip the broader setup. Run /pool and follow the buttons, or use the direct command:

/pool
/pool base 0xPoolAddress 0xTargetToken

For Uniswap v4 pool IDs:

/pool base 0xV4PoolId 0xTargetToken <firstMintBlock>

Direct entry is useful for Curve, Balancer, v4 pools, Liquidity Book pools, and any launch where the exact market is already known.

5. Tune the feed

Open:

/settings

Choose the minimum buy size, media, text, emoji, and link style. A small early group may want more alerts. A busy group may want fewer, cleaner posts.
