Pool alerts are different from simple pair alerts
Curve and Balancer alerts need more care than a normal two-token pair. A pool can contain several assets, and the Telegram group usually cares about one target token inside that pool. If the target token is vague, the alert feed can become confusing or quiet.
baes scan supports Curve and Balancer routes so teams can set up pool-aware Telegram buy alerts without pretending every market is a simple pair.
Start with the token and route
If the admin is not comfortable with the full command yet, run /watch and choose the chain from the buttons. The bot will ask for the token contract and first-mint block before saving the route.
For Curve:
/watch
/watch base 0xToken any <firstMintBlock> curve
/watch ethereum 0xToken any <firstMintBlock> curve
/watch arbitrum 0xToken any <firstMintBlock> curve
For Balancer:
/watch base 0xToken any <firstMintBlock> balancer
/watch ethereum 0xToken any <firstMintBlock> balancer
/watch polygon 0xToken any <firstMintBlock> balancer
Then confirm:
/pools
If the saved route does not match the pool the group is using, correct the watch before changing thresholds.
Direct pool setup is usually better
When you already know the Curve or Balancer pool, direct entry is cleaner:
/pool
/pool base 0xPoolAddress 0xTargetToken
The second address should be the project token the group wants to treat as the bought asset. Do not use a pool helper token, quote asset, or unrelated component from the pool.
What can make alerts look wrong
Curve and Balancer setups usually fail in one of four ways:
- The wrong pool is saved.
- The target token is not the asset the group cares about.
- The route is correct, but the token also trades more actively somewhere else.
- The Telegram topic or bot permissions are wrong.
The fix depends on which of those is true. That is why /pools is more useful than guessing.
Route the feed and tune it
After the pool and target token are correct:
/topic here
/settings
Pool activity can be less obvious than a memecoin pair. Use a threshold that keeps posts meaningful, especially if the pool has frequent small movements that do not matter to the group.
What to send for setup help
Send the chain, Curve or Balancer pool link, project token address, first-mint block if known, and Telegram group to @mrtdlgc on Twitter/X or Telegram. If there are multiple pools, say which one the community treats as primary.
Summary
Curve and Balancer buy alerts work best when the pool and target token are explicit. Use /watch with the route, prefer /pool when the pool is known, confirm with /pools, then route and tune the Telegram feed.
