Before launch day

The best time to configure a buybot is before the first noisy moment. If you wait until the group is already asking why buys are not posting, every missing detail becomes a cleanup thread. baes scan works best when the team knows the chain, token address, first-mint block, likely quote token, and active pool before the group expects alerts.

You do not need to make the web app the center of the launch. The Telegram bot is where the community sees the value. The web app gives teams a reference link when someone asks how setup works, which routes are supported, or what details are useful for setup help.

A good launch setup note can be short: token address, chain, DEX, first-mint block, pool address if known, Telegram group, alert topic, and the minimum buy size the team wants to show. With that in one message, moderators can confirm the setup without trying to reconstruct it from scattered chat history.

Confirm the pool route

Start with /watch. New admins can run it without arguments and follow the chain, token, and first-mint block buttons:

Power users can use the exact block where the token was first minted, or a block very close to that first mint:

If you know the DEX, add it:

For known pools, skip discovery. Run /pool and follow the chain, pool, and target-token prompts, or add the pool directly:

Tune the public alert style

Open the settings panel:

/settings

Set minimum buy size, media, custom text, emoji, and alert behavior. A quiet group may want a low threshold so early activity appears quickly. A busy group may need a higher threshold so alerts feel meaningful.

Do not wait for a real buy to discover that alerts are landing in the wrong place. Confirm the topic, check the saved pool, and choose the minimum buy size while the team still has time to adjust calmly. A five-minute setup review before launch is usually better than a frantic cleanup thread afterward.

If the route is not listed yet

If a chain or DEX is not listed yet, send the chain, DEX, token address, first-mint block, and pool address if available to @mrtdlgc on Twitter/X or Telegram.

The cleaner the information, the faster the setup conversation. A pool address and target token usually answer half the questions immediately.
